Frequency Multipliers / Dividers
Precision Test Systems manufacturers' various multiplier and divider modules as options to its range of frequency standards and distribution amplifiers.
These modules can also be fitted as stand alone items.
The MDS Series are a range of multipliers and dividers with ultra-low phase noise. This means they can be used with very low phase noise inputs and not add significant phase noise to the outputs.
There are various models as below:
MDS5-10: 5 MHz input with 5 x 10 MHz Outputs
MDS5-100: 5 MHz input with 5 x 100 MHz Outputs. Optional outputs at 10 MHz, 20 MHz, 40 MHz, 80 MHz and 90 MHz are also available
MDS10-100: 10 MHz input with 5 x 100 MHz Outputs. Optional outputs at 20 MHz, 40 MHz, 80 MHz and 90 MHz are also available
MDS10-5: 10 MHz input with 5 x 5 MHz Outputs
MDS100-5: 100 MHz input with 5 x 5 MHz Outputs
MDS100-10: 100 MHz input with 5 x 10 MHz Outputs
Phase Noise (additive to input phase noise) is < -140 dBc/Hz at 1 Hz and < 165 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz allowing these modules to be used with pratically any type of input signal.
